The past couple of months have witnessed a baby-boom of homegrown street wear brands in the UAE. Needless to say Sole DXB's grand debut have given the opportunity and the hope for fresh new talent to grow and to break-in the country's retail industry by celebrating street culture, building up awareness and giving life for the emerging local urban scene that has become more authentic than ever.
One of my favorite current brands is By Wekafore founded by young talented designer Wekafore Jibril. Straight clean cuts, bold prints, stretch cotton and all whites, welcome you to whole level of comfort and add a sophisticated ''gangsta'' philosophy to your wardrobe.
Pimp yourself by visiting the Luxury Arcade, World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi and shop all fresh new collections from By Wekafore.

Calm before the storm, ie: messy hair, swollen eyes and waking up with bruises that you cannot recall where you got them from (possibly while bouncing from a show to another, or the after party?)
For the first day of Fashion Forward season 3, I chose a very comfortable simple look, slipped into this beautiful cape tale jumpsuit from DOUGH by Dima Kassis, topped it with the Polygonia Steel clutch by Nathalie Trad and paired it with a Zara heels and some stack em up bangles. Ya fancy?
Sunglasses: Versace Spring Summer 2013.
Gopro: Black edition, Hero 3. (Will someone teach me how to use this thing?)
Hair pimped by Belle Femme Salon, Dubai.
Throwback cause I think this took a while to sink in:
